Better late than never, right? Two comics this week:
Detective Comics 874 (Apr ’11) – This one continues the story about Jim Gordon’s son James. I didn’t know James existed in comics until recently, and this storyline is definitely intriguing. The art style is very interesting, although I haven’t yet decided if I think it’s a bit childish. The use of colour, especially limited colours to convey atmostphere, is done really well.
Teen Titans 92 (Apr ’11) – I don’t normally read Teen Titans, but picked this one up because it’s a crossover with Red Robin, and I love my Timmy. Really starting to get into Superboy, also, he’s hardcore. I like how the cover shows all the characters, playing to each of their strengths, with Red Robin in the foreground looking fierce.
